A leader in designing and manufacturing
engagement and wedding rings
Tacori is a renowned leader in crafting customized engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry based in Glendale, California. The brand’s in-house artisans who are best in the business craft unique designs for its customers.
Tacori, operating on Magento Commerce and hosted on a third-party Cloud solution provider, wanted to improve its scalability. They were not happy with their cloud hosting provider and wanted to go with another option.
Tacori’s eCommerce portal displays the price info received from ERP hosted on a different cloud. Tacori experienced ERP sync issues in its existing eCommerce store, which led to inaccuracy in the order information and fulfillment failures.
Migration to new Cloud Service Provider
Ziffity’s team successfully moved their entire ecommerce website to a new cloud service provider, MageMojo. We also helped the brand upgrade to the latest version of Magento.
Custom features on the Cloud
To create more storefront conveniences for users and add more advanced functionalities, Ziffity tweaked the core code of Magento and built 10 custom features. Ziffity also optimized the middleware to fix sync issues within the ERP and Magento store’s backend. With the smooth flow of data between the two systems, the brand was able to get real-time order information and be prompt in fulfillment.
Cost and performance Optimization
By choosing the right plan and cloud infrastructure, Ziffity was able to reduce the cloud cost for the client. Through our performance tweaks the page load time was reduced from 17 seconds to 5 seconds.
During the migration of the website Ziffity’s team found security vulnerabilities which were fixed promptly, making the website more secure.
Ziffity performs regular website audits, refactors code, identifies areas for improvement, and builds custom features to help the brand innovate further.
