Ramtool is a renowned B2C brand that provides professional hand tools, concrete accessories and chemicals, tools and equipment, building materials, fasteners and waterproofing materials for construction requirements and contractors. The brand is a one-stop-destination to buy hard-to-find tools online.
The family of brands include multiple sub-brands in the U.S. and Canada. The brand operates across 450 branches across North America providing tools for 15 construction related professions.
Ramtool wanted a dedicated managed services partner to own the maintenance of the brand’s multiple stores.
The brand was looking to build stores for each of its sub-brands to enable online shopping for its entire customer base.
Due to slow page loading, the brand was not able to provide a zippy shopping experience.
Loading speed was one of the major challenges that hindered the brand’s storefront experience. Team Ziffity performed an audit and identified performance bottlenecks. The website was upgraded to the latest version of Magento Community Edition. By keeping the store up to date, the brand was able leverage the new features, security fixes, improvements and also lesser total cost of ownership.
