A service-based IT company founded in 2002, Reppert Factor primarily focuses on the maintenance of office networks. The company has its own network authentication software.
The brand needed an all-round media player that can play images, videos (MP4), presentations. The idea is to centrally control the content which has to be streamed in each device. And they needed the real-time content to be loaded from streaming services like YouTube or Sprouts.
The media player runs in different machines and all the players can be controlled from a centralized server. The server stores the content and plays whichever content it wants to play and the media players installed in the clients will follow.
From the server system, one can control the media players of clients individually. From the server, anyone can program at what time, what content has to be streamed.
The centralized server can push the updates so that all the media players installed in various systems get updated to the latest version automatically.
The media player supports jpg, png, bmp, gif and tiff in images. It supports mp4 video format and ppt, pptx to play presentations.
During internet disconnectivity, the media player has the inherited capability to play the last-played content in loop until the connectivity is back.
They were able to centrally control all the content playing in the clients’ systems and change the content based on the desired date and time. They were able to rollout content and version updates seamlessly across all systems.
