ofi, part of the Olam group, is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality and sustainable ingredients for the food and beverage industry.

The brand offers a comprehensive range of products, which include nuts, spices, cocoa, coffee beans, herbs, and dairy products. ofi holds a global clientele spanning several segments in the food and beverages industry like nutrition, restaurants, catering, grocery, consumer packaged goods, bakery, dairy, plant protein and more.


ofi wanted to unify its two main product portfolios, ‘Nuts’ and ‘Spices’.

The brand wanted to merge the products showcased in two exclusive eCommerce stores and create a one-stop shop for its client base.

The brand was looking for an Adobe Commerce partner to handle the merger initiative, perform upgrades, and provide long-term support and maintenance for its store.


Managed Services

As the managing services partner of ofi, Ziffity performed website audits to identify issues, bottlenecks and areas that can be enhanced for better performance and customer experience. Our managed services team also performed version upgrades and customization services on demand.

Version Upgrade

To keep up with the innovations happening in Adobe Commerce Cloud, Ziffity migrated the store from 2.3 to 2.4. Our managed services team performed the upgrade with clear plans to take on compatibility issues with customizations and extensions and ensured a smooth transition. This enabled the brand to leverage the security patches, new functional and performance improvements of the succeeding version.

Custom Modules

The brand wanted to build new functionalities to improve customer convenience in ordering and across the entire buying journey. Based on the requirements, Ziffity's Adobe Commerce developers built custom modules from scratch, such as 'Request a Quote', 'Contact for Price', 'Customer Payment Terms', 'Product Notification', 'Split Order by Sellers', and 'Branded Products'.

Merging and Rebranding Nuts and Spices

The brand wanted to blend the products offered under olamnuts.com and olamspices.com as a rebranding initiative and to make its entire product range accessible under one store.

Zififty’s Adobe Commerce experts migrated product data, customer data and orders from olamnuts.com and olamspices.com. We then rebranded the store olamspices.com into shop.ofi.com. Customers can surf through products under Nuts and Spices offerings to place orders.

Rebranding Coffee

Ofi wanted to reimagine the design of its exclusive store for its coffee brand ‘Covoya Coffee.’ Ziffity’s design team and UI developers engaged with the brand’s stakeholders to create a new, appealing look, complementing it with easy-to-use, engaging interfaces that work well on all devices.

Price Engine

The brand was using a custom price calculation and wanted to implement a new formula for rendering the price during checkout. Ziffity created a new price calculation logic that renders prices based on product attributes.

New Product Type

ofi wanted to offer their branded coffee offerings without having the need to create multiple SKUs and manual merchandising. Team Ziffity created PDPs per brand per warehouse. To enable users to place orders from these pages, the Ziffity created a new product type named ‘Branded Products’.
