An upmarket footwear and
accessories retailer in the UK
Kurt Geiger is one of the most preferred premium footwear brands in the UK. The brand was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in London. Kurt Geiger has over 70 stores and over 170 concessions within department stores. Farfetch is an online luxury fashion retail multi-vendor platform that sells products from over 700 boutiques and brands worldwide.
Kurt Geiger wanted to integrate its exclusive online store with a marketplace, Farfetch.
The brand had site issues like mismatched order value due to which they were losing on customer satisfaction.
The British footwear brand wanted to provide the best-in-class user experience and improve performance.
By using serverless computing with the help of AWS Lambda, Ziffity was able to do all the application development and integrations with zero downtime. This ensured the business of the client did not get affected in any way.
Site Issue Monitoring
By leveraging AWS CloudWatch, Ziffity could monitor any site issues and provide the data for the technical team to quickly review and solve the issues. This gave the opportunity for the brand to quickly solve site issues and improve their customer experience and satisfaction.
Ziffity integrated the Magento-powered website with a 3rd party marketplace. Ziffity has enabled zero-touch supply chain management leading to seamless transactions between the two systems. Ziffity’s managed services team performed 20+ third-party integration, including PIM ensuring seamless communication between the eCommerce backend and the systems.
A dedicated managed services team is taking care of the website’s version upgrades, continuous improvements, and implementing new features.
